Welcome, and thanks for stopping by! Subscribe to my RSS feed so you don't miss a single exciting post (or any of my regular ones). Thanks for visiting!

Here are some samples of my work, and some free downloads for you to use.

A brief note

Two of these samples, Bare-Minimum-PowerPoint.pdf and Refund denial-time exceeded.doc, may prove useful for your business and may be freely used. Another two, Single Variable Data Analysis on the TI-83 and TI-84 Series of Graphing Calculators and Waves and the Doppler Effect, may be of use to educators, and may be used freely as well.

How to view the samples

You probably already know you need a PDF viewer such as Adobe’s Acrobat or the Mac’s OS X Preview for the PDFs. If you use the Firefox web browser, I recommend the Firefox plugin PDF Downloads, which provides several great options for handling PDFs.

Samples and downloads

I wrote a guest post for the blog Freelance Writing Jobs on website basics for the freelance writer.

The flyer Bare-Minimum PowerPoint will help readers set up a basic PowerPoint® presentation.

I70-Vasquez Exposure Risk Assessment Overview.pdf The client wanted the risk assessment portion of a large environmental impact report briefly summarized. (Client requested anonymity when granting permission to post this sample.)

Single Variable Data Analysis on the TI-83 and TI-84 Series of Graphing Calculators was done for an eductional materials publisher as part of planned workbook for TI-83 and -84 series calculators. They decided to go a different direction, but gave me permission to post this here.

Waves and the Doppler Effect comes from my “past life” as an educator, but I include it as a good example of my ability to take complex subject matter and present it in a clear and concise manner.
